
Within the framework of a water management overall concept, the offer of Triton Water is completed by the operation of own laboratory. In order to offer advisory, planning, executing and support activities in a competent way, the support of in-house special lab is indispensable. Thus, Triton Water offers all the processes competently from one source. This guarantees a systematic consideration and solution of existing problems.
Triton Water lab undertakes standard analyses, however, also reacts in co-operation with the planner on customer-specific issues with testing facilities designed exclusively for it. It supports Triton Water customer service, service and marketing companies, engineers in the development, planning and execution phase and is significantly responsible for the development of chemical operating resources.
The laboratory staff consists of qualified laboratory assistants. In order to get qualified new recruits, Triton Water trains chemical laboratory assistants.
Following laboratory tasks are executed in detail:
• Development of chemical operating resources for water treatment (cool water conditioning) with testing of new materials, designing of product formulations, execution of test batches.
• Testing of active components in in-house trial cooling circuits.
• Routine analysis: Preparation of “Standard water analysis”, “ Standard deposition analysis”
• Special analysis: Development and application of verification methods.
• Inspection of incoming raw materials for production
• Direct support of field service e.g. in case of application questions regarding test kits.
• Process development e.g. in the area of precipitation/coagulation and filtration

Trials regarding modern systems engineering (e.g. EDI = Electro-deionization, membrane separation process) are conducted in laboratory/technical school. In the process, plant components are assembled on a small scale and with temporary pipe work / electrical system and water on a scale of a few hundred liters to few cubic meters is treated. The results are directly integrated in the equipments assembly.
